The line was quite tight and over the years and has put strain on the nipple on the top of the ram.
It used to go straight from the exit at the top to the nipple on the top of the ram, very little slack in it all.
One nipple broke recently, new ram 150.-
Have just changed the line for both rams, see image enclosed.
Tied the extended line down just to the side of the pad on the stern.
The guy selling the hose was not sure what the metal male to male adaptor was made out of.
I rinse the boat down after use, be interesting to see how it lasts.
Guess this is easier to do on / for a boat stored on a trailer .....
(Yes the old AF still need to come off - time is slowly doing the job for me)
