Thanks Dipper, Great Race, Really enjoyed having the YBW league running along side. It gives you something else to focus on.

Well done Trev finishi 18 amongst these experienced players who have routing software and co-skippers is no mean feet. Congrats also to Dipper who must have played a blinder in the last few hours. I thought you had abandoned ship!

In the next leg, remember this design of boat doesn't go well into the wind. They are designed for downwind sailing and that is where the big gains are made. I didn't cotton on to this at first.

I was away again, so just have to trust to autopilot, and a relatively safe course. Not the best way to race.

Even longer before I do- as I only started about 5 days ago (ybw-wildbird) . Haven't even reached cape verde yet! Just practising for race 2....

Keep the beer on ice, thats all I can say.

Apparently you will be able to start the next leg (whenever that is) even if you haven't finished this one.

Well done everyone who has finished! Esp Trev! Although it did seem a lot closer that i thought it was going to be.
I am still going strong weaving my way around all the windy parts. I am prefering the calm sections so i dont spill the G & T!
