Any one used sikaflex to fix treadmaster to their boat deck. If so which one did you use if think 291 or 292 is recommended.

Has any one know what the usage would be (tubes per sq meter)

Any other tips

291 is described as an "Adhesive sealant for general purpose sealing and bonding" and as a "Non sag gunnable paste"
292 is described as a"Strong elastic adhesive for structural bonding" and as a "Stiff paste for high grab"

Tensile strengths are 1.8N/mm² and 4N/mm² respectively

The usage rates are both given as 15.5m/310ml cartridge for a 10mm x 2mm joint!

BUT

There is also Sikaflex 298 a "Laminating adhesive for bonding decks, panels and sheets" It is described as "Fluid for spreading with a notched trowel"

The tensile strength is 1N/mm² and the usage rates is 0.5m²/600ml sachet

I thought being more fluid that might be a better choice.

291 is available in black white or brown, 292 in white and 298 in brown.

You should be able to find this and maybe more at
www.sika.com/cmi-marine-index.htm

Overall Sika's website is difficult to use!
