The programme on TV is very good, although the job is described as the most dangerous the standard of accomodation and galley facilities look pretty good to me! More luxurious than my boat.

Aye .. far cry from the wee coke burning stove in the "old days" .. tinned grapefruit & bacon butties ..

I quite liked the way the Beeb used subtitles for some of the "harsher" Scottish accents.......... P'raps Keith could organise something similar here?

Agreed it's a good programme (how do they manage to keep the cameras so steady?) but I think it feels a bit heavily scripted / rehearsed / edited. Ah ***!?$ mean, 'ers nae ony **&$£! sweerin.

I have to say that I've been dismayed by the lack of swearing - I've sailed into Peterhead and I seem to remember we could hear the trawlermen cursing from the other side of the harbour. Perhaps they're angels when at sea???
