Hello Duckies,

My pre-op name was Nick but I am now called Brenda. I've been sailing all my life and continue to do so even with out my tacking tackle!
After my compensation award for unfair dismissal at work, I am now the proud owner of a 42ft Moody called Snipper. I was hoping to enter Cowes week's first all- transvestite crew with my partner Gary/Bridget. Sadly I have not been able to gain any interest from my other girlfriends so am now on the look out for six fellow seamen, oops, seagirls!!
So if you like Babysham, talking about boys, make up and the colour pink drop me a mail.

I dont really know what to say to this - is this for real?!!!!! Being a single young, female looking for boats I am always a bit careful about what I respond to - anyone got any suggestions how I could respond to this one!

If you want to be on a serious racing entry for Cowes Week you'll need skill in (and documented success as) runners, helm, mainsheet, tactics, navigator, genny trimmer, grinder, mast or bow. As a totally mad ex-Royal Marine Commando bowman I sailed with asked all prospective crew, "what are you bringing to the party"?

With a month to go if you don't have any of those skills there's too little time to acquire them. So, if doing Cowes Week 2003 is that important to you take any ride (and that may NOT be the apposite term in this case) going, commit the current issue of Hello! to memory and remember that Prada is not a Russian newspaper!

Alternatively spend that week learning the basics of dinghy sailing. Then join the closest yacht club to you. Show a racing skipper your commitment by turning up on time for all the antifouling and maintenance sessions in February and you'll gain a place by sheer force of personality!

well stingo ( the one holding the guitar) bumped into what looks like a transvestite (the one holding stingo) in Spain.
it was in an an irish pub
It was special transevestites night

The sign sign said

She was very nice and definitely NOT photogenic. The only sentence that she could string together in English was "I want you to be the godfather of my baby". Would have been more pleased if she had dropped "god" from the sentence.
