Anybody any idea how much it would cost to have a 24 foot yacht transported by road from the Orwell to the Humber? Any companies that come recommended?

Sealand advertise in the comics every month, andrew is your contact, cannot praise too highly, hamble to pwllheli north wales, transport £800 ish + vat, only prob was the price that MDL charged for the lift etc, sealand do a turn key operation. you tell them from where to where and they quote a price for doing it all including liasing for the lift etc and they only charge cost price for that

We had a 24ft boat transported from Orwell to Portsmouth three years ago. Can't rember name of co. but can remember that we reduced the cost significantly by piggybacking on another delivery and being fairly relaxed about the date. I think we paid about £250 after a little haggling but I suspect there are alot more deliveries from Orwell to South Coast.
