Transparent Folding Boat

Earlier today I believe I spotted the illustrious editor of this magazine putting what looked like a transparent folding boat onto his car. (Either Kieran or his twin) I was in the middle of something so didn't get the chance to ask and he had disappeared later (although boat and car still there when I left)

Has anyone else heard of anything like this (I may be confusing it with something else of course!) and would you want one?

That looks like it. The flip tail - just made in the type of clear material used for sprayhoods.
