Well, not exactly. Stainless steel letters actually. Looking for something different and modern. Probably a bit heavier set than this, but I like it.

Anyone know what the font is?

Feel free to suggest anything suitable /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Just run it through Word and didnt come up with anything. The problem is the "N" being in lower case and the rest in upper. Looks mighty fine though. Good choice.

Yep, like the choice. You'll have to have the sign backlit with changing colours if you want to keep up with the Ferretti opposite your new berth..

First cars, now there is signwriting competition? Please supply a list of all other attributes or equipment that I am expected to compete on. I really don't want to let the side down, especially against the French.

I am aware that sat dome size is an issue. I'm having 60cm KVH M7s. Should I consider placing these inside M9s which have a far more impressive girth of 82cm?

You want these guys, do anything and everything you could imagine style wise.

I am having our 52 (wey hey just arrived on Friday /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif) fitted with this back light jobbie.

Oh and just look whose logo they already have (Bottom middle, although they have it sideways /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif)

Looks striking on a white boat, but not really my cup of tea. Also, lit black lettering on a black hulled boat might look a tad lost /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

[/ QUOTE ]I'm wondering if 'elegance' and 'style' should still be included in such list nowadays.
But if yes, neither changing colours under transom sign nor fake bigger domes can help...
...oh, and the same goes for that 'Sultans of the Seas' thing, imho.

Font looks great, I ran it through the Funky Monkey site which I used recently for 'Houston'. I couldn't find anything better, especially as you want to use solid cut out lettering in stainless.

There's a Superhawk down in Brixham, called 'Sanscerre', well known to some folks on here that has done something very similar but is back lit using fibre optics. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

It looks about as good as you could imagine. Bit too subtle for the old Rat though. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Trevor, isn't that a 'Lexus' logo?

I've just knocked up this graphic for an idea of what it could look like.

Not sure if the edges could be profiled like this but I'm finding out. I've also had to increase kerning to make space for the crew quarters/tender garage split between the M and A.
