My wife needs to translate the term 'fastenings', as used for a survey report, into French. Even v. large and up-to-date dictionaries have not helped. Can anyone oblige before April 5th?

Ma femme a besoin de traduire le terme «attaches», tel qu'il est utilisé pour un rapport d'enquête, en français. Même c. grandes et mises à jour des dictionnaires ne l'ont pas aidé. Peut-on obliger 5e avant le mois d'avril?

je propose " les attaches" mais malheureusement cette information est trop tard pour votre date-limite du 5 avril.

I May well have made an April-fool of myself, but my thanks to all who have replied.
I am using 'fastenings' in the sense of attachments to the hull etc. on which the surveyor is asked to report.

Fasten = attacher, amarrer, fixer
Fastening, I will translate it in French, by "fixations", "attaches"
