Is there many on here that take advantage or are able to take advantage of this scheme?

Here in Jersey we have Beaucette and St. Quay on our doorstep so it can be quite useful. Unfortunately Jersey Marinas have just indicated that they plan to withdraw from the scheme which is most disappointing.

For those not familiar, TransEurope member marinas have a reciprocal agreement that gives visitors a 50% discount on marina fees for up to 5 days per year.

I am in Mayflower, which is a member. Only used it in Brest-forgot about it when in Jersey last year. Doh! Just remembered Mylor as well.

Yes our marina are members, we used it 14 nights last year
once this

I am a member and found it very useful over the past two seasons. It is annoying if Jersey leave as I have used St Helier regularly in the past; the cheap rate helps to ease the stress of the horrendous scrummage that happens as the cill gate opens!

Jersey Marinas argue that we have agreements with several local marinas already, inc. St. Quay but they don't help that much in my opinion.

Cherbourg, Dielette, St. Quay, Binic and Carteret - we get 50% off Mon-Thurs.

I think this favours the French more as we Jersey/English folk tend to hop across at the weekends. The culture in France, as we know, is to close down the entire country and go off on holiday for a whole month.

I'd like to see these reciprocal agreements extended to the weekends but I don't suppose either side would be willing to give up peak time revenue.

I have been to St Quay once, that is sufficient for me

Used it quite a lot this year, Dover (twice), Tollesbury (twice) and Fox's

Would't say as it greatly influences our decisions on where to go but it's a welcome saving when available
