A skipper is planning to bring his boat across the Atlantic. In order to inspire the crew, he is thinking of having his iPod plugged into a huge deck of Bose speakers and playing appropriate music at suitable times.

Any suggestions? Perhaps The Dambusters' March for changes of watch?

Surely it has to be "The Ride of the Valkyries"!?

Just need some surf, some pyrotechnics, ("I love the smell of napalm first thing in the morning"), a US cavalry hat, and you're there.

Updsidedown - Jack Johnson

can just picture TCM singin out
...

"I want to turn the whole thing upside down
I'll find the things they say just can't be found"

How about a nice trad tune: Dance Boatman (done here by the Yonder Mountain String Band).

Dance Boatman Dance,
Dance I Say.
Dance Boatman Dance,
Dance all night with a hole in your pants

Boatman dance, boatman sing,
Boatman do about anything
When the boatman come to town,
look out boys, your daughters gone

Sail the whole round,
Sail it round I say,
Sail the whole damn world around
Going to get around by break of day
