just been given a 20'boat with no trailer. Has anyone out there had the same nightmare just can't seem to get one anywhere unless you buy a new one mega-bucks. Thinking of maybe getting my welder buddy to convert a car transporter-anyone any experiences along this road. Boat's a long keel with bilge plates.

Used trailers are advertised sometimes in the back of the sailymagz. Also try asking at a local boatyard/sailing club if any one has one to lend/rent/sell.
