Trailer?

I need to get my new spinnaker pole down to the boat for this weekend, but haven't a vehicle/trailer long enough for it. :/

Can anyone lend me a trailer that is capable of taking a 20 foot spar? Ideally for Thursday or Friday night.

Could we lash it to the roof bars on my car? Not sure if my cars much bigger than yours though?

Alternatively we could cut it in half and take half each...but that’s not really helping is it…

The main problem is that Sarah has my car in Italy, so I am left with a Polo, or an Almeria. Both of which are a bit short. :/ If yours has roof bars it would probably be OK, the pole would have gone on the beamer, just not the others, it's just short of 6m.
