trailer rollers?

where can i get some (18) 2" wide x 3" diameter rubber rollers?

need to replace the bunk rollers on my trailer.

iv'e looked at all the usual ones, but all too dear... someone must have a cost effective replacement for my old ones?

Instead of replacing the rollers why not just use carpeted bunks. Hell of a lot cheaper than buying all those rollers and just as easy to launch recover with if they're set up properly.

do you reckon the'd be ok for the s20?

thought about it, but thought that rollers would be better.... but hey whadda i know??

I would have thought so. Theres a couple of guys at the site who've got 24/25 footers that use bunks. One with a Formula 24ls uses the engine to put the boat onto the trailer. I'm looking to replace the side supports on mine with bunks. Hour or so with the welder should see things sorted.

We have a trailer for a 28' RIB that has centre rollers and carpeted bunks. If the bunks are set a little loose the boat can be rocked very slightly when unstrapped and that lets her roll on the centre rollers. If its rollers you want have you looked at Ambrow trailers in Christchurch....not sure how pricey they are though....cheers Iain
