After reading another thread about the Largs dry berthing, it got my wife and I thinking again!!!
We are currently selling the boat cause we are not using it, it is in the wrong location, also we are finding the cost of living a struggle as my wife has been unable to return too work.
The boat isn't selling, probably cause of where it is, so I have been talking to another forum member and he suggests getting it moved to the south coast to sell, but after reading another post tonight, we're busy wondering if we could get a trailer for say, under £1k and then dry berth it at Largs, about £900pa whilst we try selling it with someone else, and who knows if we start enjoying it again, we may try and keep it!!!!(I dream about boating out of Largs!!!/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif)
Does that sound like it could work?
And I think i may have asked before(can't remember), but is it possible to get a reasonably priced used trailer suitable for a S24??
So who wants to sell me a twin axle trailer for a 25' cruiser for under £1000????
Cheers
Al.
