Tragic death of yachtsman to be probed by marine investigator
A DEPARTMENT of the Marine investigator arrived in the small Co Mayo fishing village of Ballyglass yesterday to begin a preliminary examination of a 30-foot yacht from which a skilled sailor was washed overboard on Friday evening.

Taken from The Sunday Independent.

The death of anybody in an accident is always very sad, and this no less so.

Am I correct in thinking this Sunday Independent is an Irish paper? A newspaper of the same name is published in Plymouth and its distribution is confined to the South West, and I am guessing the item did not appear in this one. The other paper with a similar name is the Independent on Sunday which is an English national paper.
