Hi,
Looking for a supplier of traditional "T" pattern bollards / cleats, chrome on bronze i would imagine.

Top of "T" about 6 inches, base about 4 inches across, screw fixed to deck.

Anybody any ideas - i only seem to be able to find modern alloy ones...

Thanks in advance
Andy

A very rewarding solution is to become involved with making your own.
Make a wooden pattern and get a brass foundry to cast you them in naval quality brass or silicon bronze.
If you go down this path find a foundry and speak to them first they will help you with the shrinkage allowances and what they want of the pattern. Also point you in the direction of a plating shop. You will have the pleasure of contributing to the item and it will probably work out cheaper if you have more than one done.
Cheers and hope this helps.

Thanks all!
Classic marine looks like a good bet for now, although i entirely agree that modelling one and having them cast does have a certain appeal. Perhaps i will save that process for the more unusual items that i will need to replace.

Thanks again
Andy

There's quite a few chaps at the boat jumbles who specialise in these fittings along with other classic boat fittings, I'm hoping to find a few bits and bobs at the Chichester do on 12th March.

I am concerned that you should think that all antipodeans do not reply to emails from the UK. Who did you try to contact? I have heard of lots of stories of people dealing with clients in the UK who do not pay when the goods have been delivered, so expect to have to pay first. Because of the exchange rate between the GBP and the AUD [A$1.00 = 42p] prices can be very attractive, even when freight is added.
Peter.
