Saw this at Shepperton last week, in its day I think it would have looked pretty special. 700hp would have pushed this along well and made for a comfortable sports fisher IMO.

....however, poor thing now languishing in a Thames marina it has gone the way of soooo many boats kept on the river, green, tired, unkept and now pretty well a restoration job..

Many moons ago I went to the press launch on this, yes it flew but looks a little bow down now!

Not my kind of boat...

How does it end up like that? A day of cleaning and drying out, charge batteries, run up engines, advertise for sale, its still got quite some value, who leaves an asset like that?

A day?
You could easily spend a week cleaning that.
And if the outside is that bad, what about all the carpets & soft furnishings / fabrics inside?

A week! The last two boats I've bought were in that, and worse, condition and trust me a week goes no where!!

Mind you I enjoy doing it and seeing the finished article, not to mention what I save on purchase costs.

Sadly not many owners price their boats based on condition and lots around in neglected, unloved condition with asking prices as if they were mint!
