Track does not show on Raymarine RL80 Chartplotter

I have an RL80 CRC at the chart table and a RL70CRC in the cockpit. The RL70 displays my track nicely. Try as I might I cannot get the RL80 to do the same. When I go through the menus, I get to the one that should enable me to set the track interval, but I cannot change the interval and there is no interval displayed.

Any suggestions?

Why not give Raymarine a call one afternoon and talk to an engineer.

If it's failing on such a basic function I'd suspect a fault and your best approach to a FOC repair is probably direct to Port Solent.

I've always found the Customer Service people to be very supportive of end-users, far more than any distributor.

I emailed Raymarine and they recommend resetting the unit to see if that fixes the glitch. I assume that a reset will not reset the total log distance?
