Have seen these marine air heaters at the Birmingham show yesterday, the sales pitch sounded great. They are made in Japan, so will be reliable and are designed for boats, not night heaters that should work on boats. Has anyone heard of these or know anything about them? Info at Toyoset . Let me know what you think. Price is about £200 less than all the others.

Biggest drawback could be....

Biggest drawback could be the balanced flue. Not only does this make it more difficult to site the heater safely, but it represents a hazard on deck when the heater's running. Additionally, the heater can only be used when the boat is stationary - a serious disadvantage.

Why is that? if the fules being pumped to a burner then it should keep going, just turn the heat leavel down a bit? of course if your really healed over then most heaters should be turned off.
