Moored in Conyer over Bank Holiday and popped round the Faversham for a spot of lunch.
Lock Gates absent and not much appears to be going on.
Any news ?
Long wait for Bridge lift as well on wayback. :(

It would be great for Fav if they filled the inner basin full of spritty barges, smacks and similar old relics, a big draw for the crowds, and could support a new business or two perhaps.
Lots of dredging to be done though..I don't know the latest gen.

If there is doubt about the railway bridge on the Swale lifting, phone Medway VTS. The button pusher ignored me for ages until I called VTS, then suddenly the bridge went up like a homesick angel, he must have got a call ;)

Hi Paddy

The Faversham Creek Trust has plans to do exacrtly what you suggest with the basin but the funds for restoring the swing bridge depend on a referendum on the Neighbourhood Plan. See https://favershamcreektrust.com/

Re the lack of VHF response at Kingsferry bridge, this is something the MSBA is continually monitoring and liaising with Network Rail about. Can you please say what time and day this happened please?
