Well spotted TK, and succinctly put if I may say so. The combined total of raggie posts to stinkpot posts is far greater which reflects the greater interest and support for sailing and also that we use our boats for boating and not as the traditional Gin Palace. The fact that the stinkpots attract more replies should only be translated into the fact that raggies are far more efficient at dealing with things in general, this is reflected on the water by smarter boat handling, manouvering and navigating etc, and don't need as many posts to get the message across. This is further explained by the fact that stinkies clog up channel 16 more than anyone "Tomb Raider to Action Man, radio check over, oh and where are you over, 'cause we've just put the barbie on over, oh and can you bring some ice over, we'll see you at the beach over" as an example.

Now for gods sake don't let them see this reply whatever you do 'cause we are all trying very hard to build a few bridges, especially now its winter and we might be bumping into them at the LBS. But that said they are more to be pittied than scolded. Tell you what send a little note saying what nice chatty folk they are!! See you when we get released from hospital! Bit surprised at you oldgit...you come over to stinkpots and join in our banter and then stick th knife in behind our backs.....and just wait till you know who sees yoiur comments about badlee spellt rant etc etc...glad im me and not u mate.....wot ever happened to seasonal goodwill and all that?

The obvious reason the Raggie posts are less in number than the Stinkpots is because you bore each other senseless, lack the ability to communicate and are generally moody old gits who cant be bothered to give others the time of day ;¬)
