Its gonna be a brilliant weekend weather wise, this weekend, and I'm going to be boatless for the first time in a long time. So to help me out, does anyone know of anywhere where I can get a tube stack repaired sort of quick. Its for the oil cooler on the red dread 145a that I have. Can get a new one at a highly inflated price or a good second hand refurb'd one, but not by sat morn at the earliest. Not until the end of next week actually

Anybody got any ideas?

Would my one off the 2.1 be any good to you?

Dont worry Barry I will be thinking of you when I am zooming along the flat water in the right sunshine and anchored off Sark in the crystal clear warm water taking a swim and drinking beer relaxing and catching some rays.

Now where is that Brendan hiding?

Gee thanks Dom love you too!

Forbsie, it'll be way too big, but thanks for the offer.
Col, tried them. They were a bit confused at first so had to take it down to them at a local branch, well local as in a 20 mile drive. They ummed and arrhed, then said that they would have a go and call back in a week or so to see how they were doing.
Duncan, going to Poole without my boat ia against my religion, but its looking very slim that I'll be able to get it sorted by sat.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a little local company that could sort it quick'ish if the persons palm was suitably greased!

What about the one off the XLD then? It's a Bowman, around 6" plus end caps.

Still too big mate. This one is a little dinky one for cooling the oil. Would,nt want to rob bits off your engine anyway. I'm still looking around at rad specialists.Failing that I might have a go at it myself.

leave M27 jnc8, follow A27 towards fareham heading for Moody's boatyard, in the bottom of the first big dip in the raod is a right turning for Lowford, take the turning and immendiately on the right is a black shack called Wessex Radiators, he'll be able to do it I spect, give him a call on 023 8040 2848, he soldered my old Cresta radiator back together when I could not get a new core.

Otherwise come down and nick one off mine. It's certainly not going anywhere for a week or so. Just put back on which ever one you get. Still got my number, I'll PM you with it.

Go to Serck (the're now called Serck Intertruck) . Any of their branches should be able to do it. If they whinge, get them to call Serck Industrial (Roland) for instructions.
Dont take any BS from the counter, get the guy in the workshop to have a look. Chances are that they will just need to block off one tube in the stack.

<hr width=100% size=1>Been there, done that, got the oily T shirt
