Those photos look great - Any chance you could give a write up on the trip! Going to the Scilly Isles is one of the reasons I got a boat and it would be great to hear your experience of this.

Did you stop in Falmouth? How long did the last leg of the journey take you?
Did you sleep at anchor in the Ios?

we did the trip to scilly's two year ago, in our 28ft boat,
leaving from Newlyn.
enjoyed every minute of it

We've got a Sunseeker Superhawk 40 and dont hang about!

Left Torquay - 2 hours 5 mins to Falmouth (72 nm)
Falmouth - St Marys - 1 hour 40 mins (62 nm)

Thanks, I have only seen water that colour in foreign parts. Must put the SI on the "To visit" list.

So you did it from Falmouth.. well yea.. guess it is only 62 mile s as you say !! For some reason I always think it is further, and I need to stop in Newlyn.

Isles of Scilly are a fantastic place to visit. Have been quite a few times (regrettably never with a boat). The sea often looks Caribbean blue:
