Hi,

Those photos look great - Any chance you could give a write up on the trip! Going to the Scilly Isles is one of the reasons I got a boat and it would be great to hear your experience of this.

Did you stop in Falmouth? How long did the last leg of the journey take you?
Did you sleep at anchor in the Ios?

Thanks
Simon

+1, great pics. Were in Brixham, give us a hoot of your around.

Ahh well done. Somewhere I want to get to, but the distance from S'hampton and weather seem to plot against me !
I'll enjoy your photos meantime.
So you did it from Falmouth.. well yea.. guess it is only 62 mile s as you say !! For some reason I always think it is further, and I need to stop in Newlyn.
Noted.

First picture is St Agnes/Gugh, just down the path from the western-most pub in the British Isles:

.

More pix, and the sorry tale of three drunken men (one of them flatulent) in a boat, visiting the Isles of Scilly, here.

Wonderful place

Hang on J before I click on it, I think I recognise this pic from when I first joined the forum. IIRC...the next pic has you standing outside?? Nope....just clicked and I'm wrong. Now going back to take a better look.

You remember right - but the pic of me is further down, in a post from Jimi. I strongly advise you not to scroll down to it if you are offended by fat, middle aged men :)

Hahaha too late...just scrolled. Yep that was the one looool

Isles of Scilly are a fantastic place to visit. Have been quite a few times (regrettably never with a boat). The sea often looks Caribbean blue:
