Hi,
Stuck in marina, bad weather, bored! promised a report so dusted off laptop and phone....here it is...
Last week Henley...absolutely fab.. totty improved steadily throughout week. saw some rowers too...no sign of Byron though...suspect he was hiding or drinkin Sleeping B's champagne again.
Monday mornin V early start. crane guy had boat out and scrubbed by 8:30..then waited for 2 hours for late transport. Boat lost light mast and picked up few branches on journey.. driver seemed completely unfazed by this. :-! Arrived in Torquay wiv moments to spare before crane guy was leavin for day...spent two hours being nice mr customer wiv promise of cash tip if stay late...in the end boat arrived 16:58...in water 17:12...not bad considerin the force 6 that was doing its best to blow the boat back onto the dock every time we put her out over the water... Paid crane guys..drove boat to berth.. as rain poored down, ran about the place tightening ropes, inspecting damage and getting supplies loaded...fell into bed early and slept like log.
This mornin weather still bad..wonderin why bother with truck to south coast...shud have gone to med.
