Torqeedo Torq Trac info needed

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding the Torqeedo TorqTrac system, it can apparently be used with both iPhones and iPads however, some iPads are Wi-Fi only and don’t have GPS whereas the sim enabled iPads do have GPS. Does anyone use one with WiFi only and it utilises the Torqeedo travel GPS or do you have to use a sim enabled one, I am aware of the system requirements but wonder which iPad can be used, many thanks, Rob

I can’t help you directly but nestawayboats is the most knowledgeable person as far as Torqeedos go. He usually posts on the Practical Boat Owners forum, if he is still here. Send him a private message or repost on the PBO forum.
