Looking unlikely I'll be able to renew my mooring in Dartmouth this year and considering Torpoint swing moorings. Seems good in terms of accessibility via the yacht taxi, parking etc.

Does anyone else have their / had their boat there and got feedback? Feel free to PM if its negative and you don't want to mentioned in public ;)

Many thanks

Tim

I kept Naida there for a season 2011 on a swinging half way between Mount Edgecumbe and the TYH. Taxi service, run by Dave +Dave very good, found staff to be helpful and it is a lovely spot, plenty of Navy patrols going around so not much crime, interesting Navy ships movements and great access to sea within 10 minutes. Only real problem I found was that it is really only suitable for Spring-Autumn and it could get very rough on certain winds. Also it was along drive for me over 3.5 hours so a bit awkward. Great ferry service at Torpoint though every 10 mins and almost free!
