Looking for some Torlon plastic ball bearings to use in a Harken traveller. I think there was a link posted here recently. Naturally I didn't need any then. All help much appreciated.

Have a pleasant and safe Christmas.

There's an ebay seller in America selling them for $0.75 which is about 38p each. If you order the right amount, there will be no duty or VAT to pay

They appear on the Lewmar list at £40 per 100. Sizes tend to be imperial but you don't say what diameter you want.

That's a good price £1 is what I've come across before now. Make sure you get the size right, 6mm and 1/4 inch are close but not close enough if you buy the wrong ones. Harken will be Imperial

I have a 4kg 'ice cream container' in the loft full of genoowyn, bedoowyn Harken b/bs, courtesy of Old John's Chandlery Barge at Bursledon Bridge. There must be >700 of the things, which were 'spares off a RTW boat'. Cost me £6.

Doing better than my pension fund, so I think I'll keep 'em for now.....
