I purchased a Navicom RT650 DSC vhf with AIS receiver & wireless remote handsetfrom Seamark Nunn in January but after installing it, found the remote handset battery would not charge up. (fast delivery, although not the lowest price)
I took it upon myself to take the easy route and just buy another rechargeable battery pack of the 'net. (A casio cordless phone one fits. 3.6v 750mAh)
Sure enough this cured the problem and when contacted, Simon at Seamark agreed with out hesitation to reimburse me the £7.90 cost upon return of the faulty battery.
Since I never contacted them to advise them of the fault, they weren't under any obligation to do this but all too often on this forum, plenty of publicity is given to bad companies whilst the good ones receive scant praise...
