NETTO have air compressors from today at £49.99. (25l 8 bar). Also accessory kits at £14.99.

Bought both and quite satisfied. Instruction manual is a pathetic disgrace though!...it's wrong even after 'translating' from Chinese.

Sorry after rereading your post got to title this one TOOLS ALERT: CRAP AIR COMPRESSOR

Your post has reminded me of SWMBO instructions to get rid of my old rusty trusty compressor!!

I have a 7cu ft Devilbliss air compressor going rusty in my garden with 2 large storage tanks and twin water separation filters . Its about 35 years old and last used about 4 years ago. Electric lead is rotten and needs replacing but knowing this piece of kit it will probable start up OK and pump tanks up to 90psi.

Now this comes with a health warning as compressed air is dangerous and you should get all the equipment safety pressure tested. I bought it new and it has sprayed many an old car (and matching colour childrens bikes) over that time and laterly fed the air for a face mask while I used another compressor to spray the 2 pack paint on a wayfarer.

It has to go to clear the building plot for an extension. Best silly offer with promise of collecting the lot secures.

Fair enough. I'd love to be able to say 'I'll let you know in 35 years time' ....... but alas, even if the compressor is still going strong, I very much doubt if I will /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

In fact I cost-justified the purchase on the basis of just two immediate jobs /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
