Had a great day, hired a Dinghy Instructor for half-day and he taught the boys up to RYA 1. They loved it. Guy then asked if I wanted a go and gave me a Topaz to play with... What great fun, mind you I got soaked! Still beat the boys and Instructor round the cans!

Both boys now fast asleep in a tent in the back garden, real explorers!

Took my 16 foot Condor catamaran out yesterday. Gusty in the squalls, not enough wind at other times.

I'm 45 and some of my better friends would describe me as 'portly.'

Really enjoyed the 20 minutes blasting in the gusts.

Absolutely knackered: I'll stick to the cruising cat.

Very fast 16' cat for sale!

Fantastic !

A day all of you will never forget !

Congratulations for thinking of the idea.

Love a blast on my Laser from time to time - just can't get my 30' ketch to plane at all!

But by the same token, it's not much fun trying to sit in the cockpit of the Laser with a drink. So I'm keeping 'em both.

Ths is the eldest's 3rd year, but the first time I've taken the youngest out (2 years old).

They tell me they enjoyed it, although every time I asked which way they'd like to go no next, the youngest always said "Towards Mummy".

First time I've posted a photo too, so fingers crossed.

Please, I am not being critical. I can make as many typos as the next contributor, but how refreshing to see too many 'h's in dinghhy instead of the usual error of not putting an 'h' in at all making the word a rather depressing 'dingy'!
