I am looking for a motorboat between 21' - 26', preferably single engined which SWMBO and myself can enjoy weekends away and evenings just escaping from the world on, (in and around the south coast based around Christchurch/Poole area). Now wifey is fine with any boat we have seen so far, problem I have is that boat builders in this market seem to have over looked the slightly taller person ... and being 6'2" tall means that we either have an open topped sport boat or one heck of a sun roof !!!!
Does anyone have any ideas of boats which might allow me to stand almost upright in the cabin I know of the Cruiser International Holiday and a Searay 250 any others that might fit the bill ???

I'm 6ft 4 and can stand up in the cabin (6ft 2 headroom) in a Bayliner 245 - 24ft boat. The bed is massive, but the headroom in the heads is low at about 5ft 10. Wife is 5ft 2, so the boat is massive to her!

Phil.

As someone with a similar problem all I can say is get used to it.99% of small boats were designed by and for midgets. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
This also explains how you can identify a fellow boater at 100 yards, due to hunched stance.
