Where are you? I`ve been standing at the end of the pontoon at Rammy for 8 days waiting to take your lines. How about employing a deck hand? Going to a smaller boat from a 435. You won`t like it.

<font color=blue>Left the boat at the UTMYC there's the Yachtmaster's Single Handed competition this weekend. (MikeT is there.) I cannot see myself down in Ramsgate much before July because of various commitments such as my wife's ma-in-law's 80th birfday party, Henley Regatta, Music Festival, etc. etc. Gotta go see Syd too because he wants to buy me a half of lager and I wanna put that in my Log.

Re: Tut Tut B

Now then Byron bit of deja vu here, you said all this at the end of last season, and had the perfect opportunity to aquire a wonderful Crown, which we both know would have been perfect it is so easy to handle from the aft helm.

The Crown is still available old chappie. CGN

Re: too old - too fat - Solution

Strike up an outragousely generous deal with a younger, slimmer more dynamic good looking fella called Syd.

Lose weight (try to get down to around 26 stone)..

Buy a ditch crawler..

Get some friends.

Failing that...

Strike up an outragousely generous deal with a younger, slimmer more dynamic good looking fella called Syd.

Re: swap 435 for 35

Well I'm willing to do the swap of course. Not to sure about the washing machine though! But not sure Byron would find much difference. It's not the size that makes it difficult for single handed mooring. It's the design. I'm not saying I would swap for a different design. I find it boring going out to sea on my own. But for proper one man operation you need the wheel and a cleat within arms length, or nearly.

Re: swap 435 for 35

Shut up!!! You're supposed to say how easy the p35 is to single-hand, unlike the 435 which is well known to be like a 70footer, and what a great deal this would be for Byron, and how you're toilets are all tiptop, and suchlike!
