Thats just gorgeous. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Some boats just don't need the window dressing-even if it is very very nice. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I remember that incident, it made it into the newspapers the next day, "some eijit doing donuts up the Liffey in his gin palace" or words to that effect... Port Authorities weren't too happy it would seem.

The clue is in the url............'busted' /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I posted it to show all those responsible people on here what a very foolish and totally irresponsible thing this was to do, there could have been spilt ice cream and splashed champagne everywhere causing a horrendous slip incident leading to death, maming, lost control of the vessel and potentially ploughing into a river taxi full of women and childern and killing everyone but not before the river taxi smashed into the gas terminal which could have exploded and distroyed half of Dublin.

The gallows awaits Mr Nautical at Kilmainham.............

Irish Times and other daily's, caused a bit of scene on the bridge cus loads of people stopped to watch what all the photographers were doing hanging off the bridge......male ego got the better of me......a bad cocktail...girls, boat, audience, cameras.........outcome.....one dip stick!

Late season, possibly SIBS.

"mirror image shine" - looks as if the stbd topsides has been designed to look as if it's melted. Is this the fashion nowadays or is it a manufacturing fault? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Tis the gel coat, an effect of distortion from the picture angle, when one considers that is a vast area of dark blue gel any tiny imperfection even % of a mm when highly polished shows as a distorted reflection. If you made a panel of a car that big in one piece the same would occur if you looked from leading edge to the trailing edge viewed head on.

Thats 46' of a one piece moulding, pretty darn good indeed.....

A tip when buying a boat as with a car never look when its raining or the boat has just been washed, covers a multitude of sins.

Thought it was this boat for a moment .......

Something doesn't look quite right about the angle of the boat/turn rate etc etc.

Either way, is that a shot from the Bond film with the boat chase that ended at the Millenium Dome. Disnt the decapitate a Superhawk on a bridge?

Actually not a bad boat to start off with until you can afford something a little more stylish and up market and buy a proper boat, say .........like a Fairline. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Was thinking that myself, that's a hell of an angle, back off quickly or when she came near to the completion of the turn and the stb side comes level with the water and grips the momentum will flip her over.
