I reckon it is Guilvinec. Both times we went to S Brittany we called in there. It is not a "pretty place" for tourist boats, but they made us very welcome... more the feel of a living harbour: a bit like our very own Newlyn (minus the posh new pontoons).

What do you think?

Almost certainly. I did a quick check of Toms image and google maps and it's virtually identical. But I visited there last year. There is small pontoon for visiting yachts in the upper right side of the harbour, but i agree with TiggerToo that it is not a pretty place, and i thought lacked a pleasant ambience or decent nearby bars and restaurants. With much more attractive places nearby its not somewhere id go back to. By comparison, i think Newyn is lovely. :)
