Hey Folk's

Has anyone ever had any dealings with The Broker in Tollesbury Essex? I have seen a boat there and would like to know if, in this world of fast buck making corporate world, that I will be 'looked after'?

I think they are called Woodrolfes, or some thing similar.

I thank you for your help in advance.

Al.

Yes - I bought my current boat from Woodrolfes in 2005. Nice, helpful people who even went to the trouble (at no gain to themselves) in lowering the mast of the boat, which was stored off-site near Heybridge, in readiness for transportation to her new home. Highly recommended.

No connection other than as satisfied customer, etc. etc.

I sold my last boat through them and our current boat is on their list.

Very happy from a vendors point of view. Seem to be very proffesional.

Looked at some of their boats when searching in 2005. Very approachable from a prospective buyers point of view - indeed I would have really liked to have bought through them as they felt "right" if you know what I mean - but unfortunately the "right" boat wasn't on offer at the time.

I have never bought a boat through them but I have looked at three. Despite being something of a scynic (sp?) I was quite comfortable with them, my queries were answered promptly and acurately.

Of course I am dying to know which boat you have got your eye on but I probably shouldn't ask since I keep my boat in Tollesbury and it is on their brokerage list /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks guys for all your recommendations, I take it they are an understanding business.

davydine,

There are a couple of bilge keeler's they have there that I like the look of. Although it says ready to sail away, it would only be coming to the Basin. Have you a weekend end sailer for sale then?

I think Dave, (Trevera25) may be looking at one of these types also!!

Al.

Al, thanks for letting me know. No mine is a fin keel Moody 34, sadly it means we will be without a boat for a little while /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gifso if the purchase goes through and you need a hand with the delivery trip let me know! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
