That engine would probably be perfect for spicing up my little dinghy (though maybe twice the max power on the dinghy's plate :) ).

Some of you probably have first hand experience how the noise levels compare to a similar sized 4-stroke? Difficult to tell from the wobbly youtube vids I found.

I have one of those Tohatsu`s Scubaman , Love it , I find it very quiet / nice and light and manages to to propel two adults at planning speed easily with our 2.8 ribeye .

Thanks! I'm looking for a bit of extra punch for towing the two (small) kids around, so that might just do the trick.

Ribnet think this is the best all round inflatable engine there is. The last legal imports (2006) sell for North of £1k in good condition and they sell in hours rather than days.

If I needed one, I would snap the OP's hand off.
