tohatsu 5, 4 stroke

does anyone have a redundant tohatsu 5 horse, 4 stroke that they would be willing to sell for parts?, i really need the electric circuits contained within.... i've been offered an engine, which all the electrics need replacing and a new gasket, simple enough for me. i have quite a good knowledge of o/b's so i think it would be worth me investing time and a little money into it.

you might wish to include Merc and Mariner engines in your wanted list, as well as the 4hp version.

ahhh, i knew they were all much of a muchness, just no difference really is there?

badges only I think you will find.

4 has an integral tank (and connector for external usually) 5/6 is external only.

dont know if the CDI unit is identical across the models (4/5/6) or if some settings vary - but suspect the power is cam/carb dictated.
Surprised it's not worth simply getting the bits you need from tohatsu direct or via main dealer like Extreme Marine in Southampton.
