another excellent evening at Sunbury regatta, if a little wet. A very welcome tray of toffee vodka shots from Oudrageous and Two Rebels preceeded a cracking display of pyrotechnics.

Was very misty at Tedders last night , how was it up there ?
Misty in a very watery way!!! It rained a lot, no mist. Thankfully it stopped for the fireworks, which were excellent. I felt for those racing though. We had friends skiffing and punting... They got very wet and didn't stay for the evening.

I was one of MTYC's anchor boats, should have spotted you somewhere, saw Oudrageous et al moored up at the Weir. We were right by the launch site for the fireworks and were very impressed indeed. Nice display, and no debris onto Jedi.

Chucked it down a bit earler but cleared away for the fireworks, indeed we had all the canopies down for a better view. First time I have ever been into my mooring in the dark too!

Very impressed with the fireworks yet again. A friend of mine was at the park to watch them and had got their a bit earlier in the day, but said there was a grand total of about 30 people in the park to watch the display. Such a shame, but the rain was torrential earlier on which no doubt put people off, I just hope their fund raising went well enough for the show to continue... Saw Jedi go past, sounds like some beefy ol' engines you've got their Andrew!

A very boozy day you will be surprised to hear, finishing up on ex Libris, no doubt still drinking after 13 odd hours, and a mega hangover the next day. Thankfully a couple of pints of large bloody Mary's got me back in the land of the living.

Must say, food and service at the weir was very good, and the London Pride was spot on as well.

Not that big Brad, just straight pipes:-) Nice to hear that the beer is back on form at the Wier, I had a dubious one there a while back and have not been in for a while as they made a fuss about taking it back until I pointed out the floaters! And I was hungover from Friday, must learn not to match pint for pint with off duty policement!
