Never did find a cheap one, I fitted on of these four years ago:- http://www.marinechandlery.com/abov...leats/barton-sliding-cleat-175mm-32mm-t-track

They are surprisingly strong, I have my two springs attached to mine, but do suggest to check the tightness now and then.

I've used the Barton genoa track cleats for about 20 years, they're pretty adequate but do need regular checking for security.
Their great advantage over toerail cleats is that they are removable for when you're actually sailing.

Not sure if they still stock them but worth checking. I think they were less than £100 for the pair (4 or 5 years ago).
