not a bad afternoon with my electrical tester!
firstly, put fresh switches on the water and shower as they didnt light up. discovered theres power on the water pump wires, so will try and add water to see if it pressureises.
shower... only 2 wires... located the 3rd main power wire in the depths to fish out and also restored power, again no noise but would there be a float switch on that?
old stereo removed, new digital stereo fitted, with usb, sd card and aux support and a remote control - even sounds fine! for 17 bucks i cant fault it.
1 set of ambient led's powered in the mid berth along with the usb socket, just waiting on more switches to arrive to finish properly.
also gave my dash a bit of a clean now its all refitted and working.
cooker... now its the 1st time ive had a good look at it. it trips the 240v instantly, and im glad it does as i found broken wires internally. i also found it is a uk 240v effort, i thought it was a 110v unit.
is this worth sorting and if so... how? wire repair? element replacement? obviously by a qualified sparky.
secondly do the alcohol units look ok to use? ive no experience with them, i assume i just fill the drums with the relevant fluid and light with a match from above?
