TFVBC - Thames Forum Virtual Boat Club.

Should we fomalise ourselves a little, join the ATYC and TVR and turn up 'for real' occasionally?

Would we be eligible to enter 'first time' entries as our 'club' would not have been seen previously? With our extended membership crossing all the rivers social divides could we wipe the board if forumites opted to be in our gang instead of their usual 'real' conclaves?

Might be fun?

Ok....I'll get me oilies and crawl into the lazarette again.......:D

Several of the people on here are already members of more than one club anyway.

As for "first time" entrants, I think you'll find its based on it being the skipper's first time irrespective of who he is competing for.

Are you volunteering to be commodore then?

What's happening? Is the world coming to an end? I never thought I would see the day when Tony wanted to be commodore of his own club. But then who would want to be a member of a club that would actually accept them as members?

I have not made any such proposal you naughty naughty man, you !!!!

I was merely floating the idea that we might consider an occasional foray as the TFVBC and soliciting views :D

IF this is to be a virtual club

I intend entering my recently aquired virtual Sunseeker in any proposed boat handling competition

Shall also need a special exemption from Thames 8kmh limit as all Sunseekers are incapable of moving at less than 35 knots.
As you see i have already got 2 lots of crumpet on board, sorry to say the wife mysteriously appears to have been left behind for some reason.
