/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Today dawned bright i went to the cafe for Coffee and bread (easier to spell) then got ready to leave, filled up with water and wine, checked the gas and diesel(for the heater) then went to the capitanerie to check for post as its another post woman this week and she dosent stop at the cafe!

There was post! One was my port charges its always a shock but 2446 euros!! or £1651.64!!For the year it hasent gone up its just that by december the shocks worn off!! As it happens i asked the price for Saint Maxim Frejus Grimaud and a few other ports. Their and the charges are about the same.

How much do YOU pay for a place 7.85x2.70 for one year?????? Id like to get an idea of prices in the UK, Holland, Belgium, and Italy, Spain, Portugal, as well as Greece and Turkey

Im sure this post will give everyone an oversite to annual mooreing costs. From that by rule of thumb one thired (33%) the annual cost would be about the 6 month winter rate i hope for lots of posts that we can all get an idea of costs at the moment.

Post your charges even if the place is larger or smaller, as a impression of cost in different catorgorys can still be drawn

In the mean time im going to enjoy what i have aboard befor faceing a new year of povety and hunger!(once my cheques cashed)

Hmm...

Portsmouth: £1350 for pontoon (not connected to land - apart from seafloor obviously) + £600 for marina berth during winter. (27ft yacht)

Mylor, Cornwall. £2178 for 6 months mooring and 6 months in the marina. 9.15m

Not sure I really want to advertise this... Oh hell here goes. Chichester marina 10mtr pontoon berth £2800. But it's a really horrible place and wouldn't recommend it. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Port Rhu, Douarnenez, 660 euros per year for 10.1 metres on a trot mooring, in the Bassin a flot.

8.2m/27' at Chichester Marina, £2500. Another £600 (To the boatyard) if I want to keep it in the car park over the winter.

Surely your marina fees include 3 months hard standing? Mine do. I only have to pay for the lift and choc

£100 half tide swinging mooring plus £30 pa river licence.

Lift in and out (as many times as you want) and winter field storage all part of yacht club membership. (approx £250 family p.a.)

River Crouch, Essex.

But keep away, you'd really hate it!

It's all muddy and you can't just step onto the boat (unless the tide's out) and there's no one to pose to and you might get you're nice new durberrys dirty and there's no shore power or water on the mooring and you have to use the dinghy to get to the bar and there's so many downsides that I don't know why I bothered to mention it.

Sorry. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
