to foul or double foul?

As many as is on the rest of the boat because providing there's no air trapped on the transducer it really doesn't matter. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: to foul or double foul?, Navman

I have a Navman depth mounted in a grp tube epoxy bonded to the inside of the hull, with a little water to provide acoustic contact.

Works fine, apart from occasional loss of signal in waves.

Tried cooking oil, but that gave max depth reading of 20m

This is to save a through-hull
