Contemplating stripping off all the antifouling off Morzen & applying an epoxy barrier coat before re-antifouling this year.

Given all the work & expense involved - is it worth doing though?

Yacht is 6 years old, stored ashore 4 months each year. Gelcoat is modern 'osmosis resistant' NPG impregnated resin variety & not damaged in any way.

Would I be wasting my time applying epoxy?

not worth doing unless hull is really dry first, otherwise you seal in the moisture. Dont believe your 4 months in winter will achieve that without covering and use of heaters.

That depends how persuasive I can be with SWMBO... Current plan is to keep for a couple more years & then look for a good Seahawk/Corsair/Moody 346/similar to spend more time aboard & handle longer passages. So would be selling at around 8 yrs old.
