I installed 2 TMC electric toilets in my boat a few years ago. I also bought a replacement pump at the same time to keep as a spare. Last year I had a problem with one of the toilets and decided to change the pump. I discovered that the original toilets had 19mm [3/4 inch] inflow and outflow whereas the spare was 25mm [1 inch] in and out. The inlet hose coming from the sea-cock was also 19mm but with a heat gun I managed to force it onto the 25mm connection on the pump. I changed the outflow hose and anti-siphon to 25mm. So 19mm in and 25mm out. It worked after a fashion but the inflow of water is weak and the discharge from the dirty end puts the water out faster than the pump can supply it meaning the bottom of the toilet is empty when pumping out so it's not very efficient. I imagine the proper solution is to change the inflow from the sea-cock to 25mm but that would involve changing the sea-cock which requires a lift out and even then I'm loath to go changing a sea-cock which would involve cutting a bigger hole in the hull. So next best option is to change the pump to a 19mm one and the problem there is I can't find one. All the replacement pumps I can see online appear to be 25mm in and out. Casn anyone offer any advice, please.
