The TMBA Non Tidal Thames Motor Boaters Survey 2022 is now online – Non Tidal Thames Motor Boaters Survey 2022

All Motor Boaters based on, or visiting, the Environment Agency managed non tidal Thames during 2022 are invited to participate in this survey which will remain open until 31st December. Summary results will be published on the TMBA website in January 2023.

The TMBA’s 2021 survey was completed by almost 600 boaters and provided valuable information about river usage and satisfaction levels. Please take a few minutes to assist us by completing the survey and also encourage your boating friends to do so.

The TMBA are currently offering FREE membership until 31st March 2023 – More information available on the website here: www.tmba.org.uk/register

Done and once again thank you for all your help and work keeping the river alive.

Sadly I feel my time on the Thames is nearing the end as I now have a new job up north and don't use my boat as much now.

Have had seven fantastic years of staying on board for work and every holiday crusing the Thames including most Xmas days at Hampton Court Palace.

+1
Completed the survey from a visitors point of view, probably a bit more optimistically and satisfied than those who moor up there , but all in all still look forward to spending time on the river, even when taking in the cost of getting round there and back.
A lot of bang for your buck on the non tidal Thames once through the lock at Teddington.
Even the Honey Pot moorings at Hampton Court were not that bad.................................. out of peak times.
Squeezed onto the H.C. moorings during one hot bank holiday ,bit of muttering from the boats in front and behind, one depa rted shortly afterwards .
Amazing to see the number of folks enjoying old Father Thames by just every possible method.
Absolute mayhem but everybody seemed to survive.
Livaboards and narrow boats are just part of life these days but the exponential growth in large wide beam newly built luxo barges has been noticable.
