TK Line clear prop anti fouling spray

Not come across that one Tim, my issue has been antifoul staying on the prop. This year I'm trying the Seajet Emperor triple pack; the other two packs mix as an epoxy primer. Having seen Playpen's prop next to me in the yard I'm optimistic. We all need to compare notes in October...

It may turn white - don't know. It's clear now. Having wire brushed the prop up to shining metal, it looked so good that I couldn't bear to paint it with a colour paint!

Yes, Larry, we'll have to compare notes at the end of the season. Winters Bride is in the central run, left a bit from you, if you want to see what it looks like -Ollie put the prop back on yesterday.

I'm not there today, having a day off with a bad back......

I tried it after it was recommended on here. Actually worse than Trilux which is saying something. It must however work for some people/locations. Me ... Brittany.

It worked quite well for me one year.

Just scrubbed - a reasonably thick but even layer of crud with no huge growths to give an imbalance on a blade.

Like all prop fouling remedies - it's a mystery to what really works (and I've tried a few).

Remedy: Sail in waters you don't mind taking a dip in and giving the prop a scrape at the same time. :encouragement:

HTH

BTW: The cans should have a disclaimer on the lid for only being any good for 3 months after application (some cans do, some don't).
