What's going on with all these trolls? - the weather hasn't been that bad (not here anyway:p). Driving licenses, pan pans, people in the Solent complaining about rafting because there is too many boats about:D:D

We haven't had such long threads about non-subjects for ages ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

This is a short thread about a non-subject:rolleyes:

Why do people who generate interesting discussions get called trolls? Surely we would should be thanking them for giving people something to mull over and get worked up about. In my opinion, calling a poster a troll is just an excuse to avoid admitting that there really is an opposing point of view.

Actually there is a seious troll issue here.

What clearance should I give when going under a bridge to avoid troll problems. Or do trolls only exact a toll on those crossing the bridge?

Personally I blame people who wear Tilley hats.......

HATS! that is it: I have just aquired a Tilley this season, and I must admit it is great. Not as good as a Sou'wester against rain, but much better for comfort (sun, drizzle etc), of course the wooly blue Breton cap is the one to go to the pub in...

"Tis the season to be trolly"

That is the best thread title for a long time. It made me smile and that is quite difficult. :)

I have noticed the long threads about non-subjects also. I reckon the reason is that posters can put their offerings back to the top of the list again with another reply to their own posts.

The way to stop this happening is to stop a post going back to the top if posted by the original poster.
