I put my back out two years in a row, rushing into two people jobs on my own - just to try to get them done in time for my self imposed deadline. I then missed the deadlines because I had a bad back!

Here's a tip I've only lately learned...order stuff long before you'll need it. As soon as there's any reasonable probability you'll want it, order it, and hold onto receipts...

...now that the weather's good enough to do the work, I'm being seriously inconvenienced by chandleries not stocking/supplying what I need. I should have ordered it at New Year.
